The beauty of Creation is layered into the overall picture of what we see. There is a cell by cell hidden beauty to each individual and unique building block, lovingly knitted together by the Hand of God. His Creations have precision, order, and exquisite loveliness, I am using the ‘hidden evidence' seen through the microscope to produce an art exhibition to glorify an acknowledge our Creator God.

Every living creature has been created with a DNA code applicable to ‘its kind’. The code cannot be added to or changed so it becomes something else, the code is unique and complete.

From the moment of fertilisation the code is imprinted within each cell, specific to what will be produced. Every detail is there, every part is waiting to fit into the whole. Nothing has been missed, nothing wasted or superfluous, a blue print of exactly what each species requires to function, flourish and survive.

This completion would have been enough, YET, for each creation there is a hidden beauty in every detail, a hidden, breathtaking beauty our eyes cannot see.

The Turtle has a code of DNA instructions that provide a tough physical protection for the delicate organs concealed within. It’s shell is a complexity of strength, incorporating details stunningly crafted, whilst ‘engineeringly’ sound. The Turtle’s body and organs perish, but the shell will remain.

Our tender and delicate spirit is awakened when we accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour. He provides protection for our spirit. His Spirit unites with our spirit giving us incredible healing, strength and power, and although our body will die and perish, our spirit will live on forever.

Like the Turtle can withdraw into the protective covering and strength of its purpose built shell, we can also go under the protective strength and covering of the Messiah, Lord Jesus.

Psalm 91: 14-16

14    The LORD says, “I will rescue those who love me.

I will protect those who trust in my name.

15    When they call on me, I will answer;

I will be with them in trouble.

I will rescue them and honour them.

16    I will satisfy them with a long life

    and give them my salvation.”

A tiny creature, so minute and delicate, almost transparent. Yet within it’s DNA Code is a design which enables it to manoeuvre along the tip of this nettle, weaving its way through the spines and toxic juices, unharmed. With just one touch a nettle can erupt our skin into painful lumps, unless we are covered with an impenetrable material. Our spirit, if not protected has tremendous vulnerability, and can be painfully contaminated when we ignore the instructions our Creator has given to us.

Psalm 121: 5-8

5    The LORD himself watches over you! The LORD stands beside you as your protective shade.

6    The sun will not hurt you by day, nor the moon at night.

7    The LORD keeps you from all evil and preserves your life.

8    The LORD keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.

With this protection we can manoeuvre the difficult situations of life, trusting our guide and protector to get us through safely.

Every year our grape vine sweeps and curls around the pergola. Minute florets hide under the twisting tendrils, the thick branches, and the hairy leaves. An initial glance at one of these insignificant florets reveals nothing more than an untidy mass of intricate stems, with tips that look dry and crumbling. YET, a miracle is emerging. The blueprint DNA Code of the vine has move into the development of a perfectly formed, individual grape, forming at the base of every delicate stem on every floret. This stage is so minute it can’t be seen.

Our journey through life is like the vine. We grow around the structure of circumstances, and are holding on to what is there, anchoring ourselves to what we can, choosing to place ourselves where we think we should be. Many branches of the vine find themselves floundering in mid air, with nothing to hold on to. These branches go on to produce bunches of grapes, but the weight as they get bigger becomes too much, and the branch will bend and eventually snap.

Faith is like the tendrils of the vine, when put in the right place it is anchored firmly, and like the branch and grapes, our lives will flourish, producing luscious fruit.

The direction depends on magnetic force and where it is in relation to the Poles. It has to conform to this, it can’t do anything itself to change this.

Steady in the storm...... Matthew 14:25-32

25About three o’clock in the morning Jesus came to them, walking on the water. 26When the disciples saw him, they screamed in terror, thinking he was a ghost. 27But Jesus spoke to them at once. “It’s all right,” he said. “I am here! Don’t be afraid.”  28Then Peter called to him, “Lord, if it’s really you, tell me to come to you by walking on water.”     29“All right, come,” Jesus said.  So Peter went over the side of the boat and walked on the water toward Jesus. 30But when he looked around at the high waves, he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he shouted.  31Instantly Jesus reached out his hand and grabbed him. “You don’t have much faith,” Jesus said. “Why did you doubt me?” 32And when they climbed back into the boat, the wind stopped.  33Then the disciples worshiped him. “You really are the Son of God!” they exclaimed.

People can’t walk on water, yet when Jesus tells Peter he can, he gets out of the boat and walks on water towards Jesus. He continues until he takes his eyes from Jesus, focussing instead on the waves, he allows himself to become fearful.

FEAR ......HEBREWS 4:14-15

14That is why we have a great High Priest who has gone to heaven, Jesus the Son of God. Let us cling to him and never stop trusting him. 15This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same temptations we do, yet he did not sin. 16So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it.

OVERCOMING FEAR .....JEREMIAH 1:8 8And don’t be afraid of the people, for I will be with you and take care of you. I, the LORD, have spoken!”

NO FEAR .......2TIMOTHY1:7

7For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

Fear needs to be faced and conquered, fear is not from God. When we choose to follow Jesus we are filled with power, love and self discipline. We are given everything we need to overcome fear.

Our fish pond has thirteen stupendous goldfish who enjoy a waterfall, fountain and many oxygenating plants. Unfortunately the water gets clogged up, because Algae attempts to take control of the pond. It begins slowly, almost unnoticed, but then escalates into a tangled mass of ‘hair like’ greenery. It then becomes host to minute brown particles ensuring contamination of the water when attempting to remove the green weed.

Our lives can have aspects of this example, evident over the years. At first we don’t notice the bad habits and actions, until they begin to dictate how we live. Unless dealt with in a ’sure fix’ way, that won’t make things worse, everything within and around us becomes contaminated, until we are so overwhelmed we can’t escape.

Just like our pond requires cleaning and fresh water, so we need to determine to clean out the areas of our lives needing help. We can’t do it alone, but if you ask, Jesus will help you.

Psalm 120:1

1    I took my troubles to the LORD; I cried out to him, and he answered my prayer

Revelation 21:10 -27    10So he took me in spirit to a great, high mountain, and he showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God. 11It was filled with the glory of God and sparkled like a precious gem, crystal clear like jasper. 12Its walls were broad and high, with twelve gates guarded by twelve angels. And the names of the twelve tribes of Israel were written on the gates. 13There were three gates on each side—east, north, south, and west. 14The wall of the city had twelve foundation stones, and on them were written the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.  15The angel who talked to me held in his hand a gold measuring stick to measure the city, its gates, and its wall. 16When he measured it, he found it was a square, as wide as it was long. In fact, it was in the form of a cube, for its length and width and height were each 1,400 miles. 17Then he measured the walls and found them to be 216 feet thick (the angel used a standard human measure).   18The wall was made of jasper, and the city was pure gold, as clear as glass. 19The wall of the city was built on foundation stones inlaid with twelve gems: the first was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, 20the fifth onyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh  chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst.   21The twelve gates were made of pearls—each gate from a single pearl! And the main street was pure gold, as clear as glass.  22No temple could be seen in the city, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23And the city has no need of sun or moon, for the glory of God illuminates the city, and the Lamb is its light. 24The nations of the earth will walk in its light, and the rulers of the world will come and bring their glory to it. 25Its gates never close at the end of day because there is no night. 26And all the nations will bring their glory and honor into the city. 27Nothing evil will be allowed to enter—no one who practices shameful idolatry and dishonesty—but only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

12Its walls were broad and high, with twelve gates guarded by twelve angels. And the names of the twelve tribes of Israel were written on the gates. 13There were three gates on each side—east, north, south, and west.

REVELATION1:7    7Look! He comes with the clouds of heaven. And everyone will see him—even those who pierced him. And all the nations of the earth will weep because of him. Yes! Amen!

6“This is what the LORD, Israel’s King and Redeemer, the LORD Almighty, says: I am the First and the Last; there is no other God. 7Who else can tell you what is going to happen in the days ahead? Let them tell you if they can and thus prove their power. Let them do as I have done since ancient times. 8Do not tremble; do not be afraid. Have I not proclaimed from ages past what my purposes are for you? You are my witnesses—is there any other God? No! There is no other Rock—not one!”

ISAIAH 48:12

12“Listen to me, O family of Jacob, Israel my chosen one! I alone am God, the First and the Last. 13It was my hand that laid the foundations of the earth. The palm of my right hand spread out the heavens above. I spoke, and they came into  Jesus is the First and Last, so we have no reason to fear. Christ lives outside the confines of time, having no beginning or end. He controls everything.

The Armour of God

10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the full armour of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armour of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled round your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests.

JOHN14:27  7If you had known who I am, then you would have known who my Father is. From now on you know him and have seen him!”

PSALM 119 :165

165    Those who love your law have great peace and do not stumble.

We have been promised lasting peace by Jesus. As the Holy Spirit begins to work in our lives He gives us an unshakable peace from above, overcoming our fears in this fear filled world.

Ephesians 4:20-31

20 But that isn’t what you were taught when you learned about Christ. 21Since you have heard all about him and have learned the truth that is in Jesus, 22throw off your old evil nature and your former way of life, which is rotten through and through, full of lust and deception. 23Instead, there must be a spiritual renewal of your thoughts and attitudes. 24You must display a new nature because you are a new  person, created in God’s likeness—righteous, holy, and true.  25So put away all falsehood and “tell your neighbour the truth” because we belong to each other. 26And “don’t sin by letting anger gain control over you.” Don’t let the sun go down while you are still angry, 27for anger gives a mighty foothold to the Devil.  28If you are a thief, stop stealing. Begin using your hands for honest work, and then give generously to others in need. 29Don’t use foul or abusive  language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.   30And do not bring sorrow to God’s Holy Spirit by the way you live. Remember, he is the one who has identified you as his own, guaranteeing that you will be saved on the day of redemption. 31Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of malicious behaviour. 32Instead, be kind to each other, tender hearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.

All of Creation, everything living, unquestioningly lives in the way it has been created, except for Human Beings. We have been given the ability to choose how we are going to live. Our brain and it’s consciousness, has been designed by our DNA Code, to order and control our physical body, the ‘choice mechanism’ influences how we act and react wmotionally. When our feelings ‘rule’ , we are actually not in control, our feelings  condition our reactions. This changes when we choose to put our trust in Jesus. He teaches us how we are meant to ‘be’. We are created in the IMAGE OF GOD, and He is pure love.

Love is the cornerstone of our existence, it is written into our DNA, but we have been given the choice to ignore it. When we love others as we would like to be loved, everything negative and critical is cast aside.
